1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Progressivity LLC ("we," "us"), the company behind Aftercompass. By using Aftercompass, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. Not legal, financial, or tax advice

Aftercompass provides general information and organizational tools to help you through the practical steps after a death. We are not a law firm, financial advisor, or tax preparer, and using Aftercompass does not create an attorney–client or fiduciary relationship.

Laws, dollar thresholds, and procedures vary by state and change over time. Always confirm specifics with the official sources we link to, or with a licensed professional, before acting.

3. Your account and your information

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account secure. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only for managing matters you’re entitled to manage.

4. Free and paid features

Aftercompass is free to use for the personalized checklist and all guide content. Aftercompass Pro is a one-time purchase of $24 (USD) that unlocks saving unlimited plans, sharing with family, reminders, and the document vault.

Prices are shown before you pay. We may change pricing for future purchases, but a change won’t affect a purchase you’ve already made.

5. Payments, authorization, and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing checkout, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown. We don’t store your full card details.

Because Pro unlocks digital access immediately, the $24 one-time purchase is generally non-refundable once access is granted. If something went wrong or you were charged in error, email us within 14 days and we’ll make it right.

6. Cancellation

The launch offer is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there’s nothing recurring to cancel. If we offer a subscription in the future, you’ll be able to cancel anytime and the cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you subscribe.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Aftercompass is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Progressivity LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact
