Privacy Policy

1. The short version

We collect only what we need to give you a useful checklist and, if you choose, to save and share it. We don’t sell your personal information. This is a sensitive moment, and we treat your data with care.

2. What we collect

Checklist answers you provide (such as state, whether there was a will, and asset categories) so we can generate and save your plan. If you create an account, your name and email via Firebase Authentication. If you buy Pro, Stripe processes your payment and shares a limited confirmation with us — we never receive your full card number.

We may collect basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used so we can improve it.

3. How we use it

To generate your personalized plan, to save and sync it across your devices when you’re signed in, to process your purchase, to provide support, and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service providers

We use Google Firebase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

5. Your choices

You can edit or delete your saved plans, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@aftercompass.com. We’ll honor applicable privacy rights under laws like the CCPA and GDPR where they apply to you.
